This paper reports a newly recorded genus of pine pest in Hubei Province,i. e. Anastrangalia Casey,1924,and a newly recorded species,i. e. Anastrangalia dissimilis dissimilis (Fairmaire,1900),collected from a pine forest plot in Weishui Town,Songzi,Hubei Province in April 2026.A brief morphological description of the species was provided,along with photographs of adult specimens and ecological images. Based on references including Fauna Sinica,Catalogue of Chinese Insects,and Catalogue of Chinese Beetles,the genus and species were confirmed as new records for the family Cerambycidae of Hubei Province.
