Abstract:pine wilt disease is a major forestry quarantine disease caused by pine wood nematode, which poses a serious and persistent threat to forest ecological security in China. This study takes the five-year action of epidemic prevention and control in Hubei Province from 2021 to 2025 as the research object, systematically combs and expounds the construction path, core technology application practice and practical results of the comprehensive prevention and control system in Hubei Province. The results show that Hubei Province has achieved remarkable results in curbing the spread of the epidemic, compressing the distribution of epidemic areas and repairing damaged forest ecology by constructing a comprehensive prevention and control system integrating monitoring and early warning, zoning management, scientific and technological innovation, quarantine blockade and ecological restoration. By the end of 2025, the epidemic area of pine wilt disease in the province, the number of county-level epidemic areas, and the number of township epidemic spots decreased by 27.18%, 19.51%, and 22%, respectively, compared with 2020. The purpose of this study is to provide scientific theoretical basis and practical operation reference for the prevention and control of pine wilt disease in China.
