Abstract:On October 26th, 2025, during the “Shennong Cup” birdwatching activity in Shennongjia Forestry District, Hubei Province, a female Oenanthe deserti was documented for the first time near Mirentang ( 31°26′49″N,110°14′26″E). This observation represents a new provincial distribution record for this species in Hubei. Given its primary habitat in arid northwestern regions and its rarity in central China, the individual is preliminarily identified as a vagrant. Further research is required to determine its residency status and distribution patterns in the region.
