Abstract:With the increasing number and the enhanced forward-looking and comprehensive nature of large and medium-sized forestry ecological construction projects, the connotation and requirements for scientific support in these projects are continuously deepening. Currently, the implementation pathways and content framework for scientific support are still in the exploratory stage. This paper takes the scientific demonstration site construction project for the forest fire barrier system funded by additional government bonds in Macheng as the research subject. It systematically analyzes the scientific support practices throughout the entire process, from project initiation to completion acceptance, and summarizes effective methods and experiences for carrying out scientific support work. Furthermore, it explores broader directions, such as how research institutions can better serve national, provincial, and municipal (county) key tasks, promote the transformation of scientific research achievements, and diversify project funding channels. The aim is to provide insights for scientific researchers and project managers.
