Huanglongtan National Wetland Park of Hubei is located in the core water source area of the Danjiangkou Reservoir in the central route of the South-North Water Transfer Project, and it is a typical reservoir wetland. From June 2021 to May 2022, we investigated bird diversity of different seasons and different habitats in Huanglongtan National Wetland Park by ways of Line Transect Method and Infrared Camera Shooting Method.There were 93 species of birds, belonging to 16 orders, 40 families. There were 2 species of national first-class protection, 9 species of national second-class protection, 4 species of near-threatened（NT）, and 3 species of endangered（EN）.The results showed that the sequences of birds diversity in habitats were: arbor forests, farmland, inland water, residential area. From a seasonal perspective, the highest was in winter, followed by spring, summer, and autumn in that order. The islands and forest in the wetland park have provided food and habitat for the forest birds, and the unique lake and reservoir habitats in the park also provided wintering habitats for migratory birds. The bird diversity in Huanglongtan Wetland Park is relatively rich.
