On September 10th, 2023, a rare albino Anas zonorhyncha was recorded by the monitoring personnel of Yichang Garden Bureau and the Yichang BirdWatching in the Yidu section of Guanzhou, Yichang Chinese Sturgeon Nature Reserve of the Yangtze River, Hubei Province . The individualwas completelyalbino, which was slightly smaller than others . After consulting the Guideto the Birds of China, it was confirmed that the bird was an individual of the albino Spot-billed Duck（Anasxonorhsncha）. This provides a scientific basis for further research on albino birds.
