Abstract:The study is to explore the effects of different treatments on the germination characteristics of sophora moorcroftiana seeds，in which the seeds were soaked in water，300mg. L— 1 and600mg. L— 1 GA3 for2，4，and8days . The results showed that with the extension of soaking time，the germination rate of s. moorcroftiana seeds increased，and soa- king with300mg. L— 1 GA3for4— 8days can significantly improve the germination rate，which is10% — 15%higher than soaking with water . For germination- vigor，there was only one peak of germination-vigor after soaking for2days and8 days in water，and GA3 300mg. L— 1 and600mg. L— 1 treatments，while there were two peaks after soaking for4days . Meanwhile，the analysis of variance results showed that there were extremely significant differences in germination rate and decay rate among9different treatments，but there was no significant difference in hard seed rate among different treatments .
