Based on current status system of dynamic monitoring of forest stock volume in Hubei Province, this paper in.troduced methods of dynamic monitoring of forest stock volume and the relevant algorithm formulas for calculation of re.sults.'T'hrough the simulation and calculation of typical plots, the differences of different measurement methods were compared,and problems existing in the calculation and calculation of forest stock monitoring are discussed. The advantages anddisadvan ages were obiectivelv analvzed, combination of statie indicators and dvnamie indicators.combined with the natural growth rate of forest resources,taken into account the consumption and loss of forest resources, and had small devia.tion ,low error , accuracy and high precision ,which are complementary to cach other,and could provide a reference for theannual dynamie monitoring of forest stock.
