Dendroctonusarmandi is a main pioneer pest of P. armandii and has been rated as a highly dangerous pest in recent years . According to the overview for distribution area, biological properties,hazard forma- tion mechanism,prevention and control technology of D. armandi to make the direction and the necessity of prevention work clearly.
