In August2022, two genera of Eopycna and Polyneura belonged to Cicadidae were captured in Shennongiia forest area of Hubei Province by net trapping or light trapping. Two remarkable species of these two genera, Eopycna repanda and Polyneura cheni are recorded from Shengnongiia, China for the first time . The diagnostic characteristics of these two newly recorded species are given, and their biological characters are briefly provided.
