Aspidiolini in Walnut Orchard seriously affect its growth and production . To control these pests fundamental- ly, screen out ingredients that quickly dissolve the wax on their surfaces , allowing pesticides to enter their bodies easily. In this experiment, different solvents were used to dissolve the larval wax of scale insect, and the solvents and their concentra- tions were selected to rapidly dissolve the wax of scale insect. The results showed that the alkalinity containing sodium ions was more effective in dissolving the waxy matter of the larvae Aspidiotini. The addition of the alkalinity containing sodium ions was helpful in dissolving the waxy matter , the better effect of pest control can be achieved.
