Abstract:The monitoring of wetland nature reserves is a basic task of nature reserves management. It is of extremely important strategic significance for systematically grasping the resource status, dynamic changes, management effects and development trends of wetland nature reserves. With the support of the ‘Strengthening the Hubei Province Wetland Protection System and Protecting Biodiversity’ project, we have studied several mainstream wetland monitoring index systems at home and abroad, and proposed a monitoring index system of wetland nature reserve in Hubei province, which includes 7 wetland state monitoring indexes and 9 wetland state influencing factors, to standardize and unify the daily monitoring work of wetland nature reserves in Hubei Province.
