On the basis of analyzing the problems existing in the cultivation of landscape architecture talents in local universities, this paper clarifies the objectives and ideas of the teaching reform of landscape architecture application-oriented talent training.Specific measures are put forward, such as optimizing the objectives of talent training according to the talent market and the needs of local industries, reconstructing the curriculum system, closely following the training of practical application ability to reconstruct the practical teaching system, strengthening the integration of science and education, exploring diversified teaching methods and constructing the guarantee system of talent training.The primary effect of teaching reform is analyzed from many aspects. The research results can provide useful reference for the development of landscape architecture in local universities.
