Abstract:Taking the F? hybrids of Lagerstroemia indica and Lagerstroemia limii as the research object, this study analyzed the genetic variation and correlation of main growth and flowering traits of the hybrids, screened comprehensive evaluation indicators, and carried out excellent single plant selection. The results showed that the traits of flowering density, length of inflorescence, width of inflorescence, plant height and ground diameter had great variation among hybrid individuals, with the variation coefficient ranging from 16.5% to 21.46%, indicating great selection potential.Correlation analysis showed that there was no significant correlation among the three traits of flowering density, inflorescence length and plant height.Three traits were selected by the comprehensive scoring method, and 9 plants with excellent flowering density, inflorescence and growth traits were screened out according to the 10% selection rate. Compared with the control and the average value of the population, the average flowering density, inflorescence length and plant height of the selected plants increased by 9.51%~14.72%, 21.13%~23.82% and 18.75%~68.34%, respectively.
