Through the introduction and silviculture experiment of 6 strains of Taxodium hybrid ‘Zhongshanshan’in Jianghan Plain, the results showed that: the six introduced strains of Taxodium hybrid have no serious plant diseases and insect pests, all growth indexes are greater than Taxodium ascendens. For the 11-year-old Taxodium hybrid ‘Zhongshanshan’, the diameter at breast height is 17.61 cm, the height is 11.06 m, and the volume is 0.1297 m3. The introduction test of Taxodium hybrid ‘Zhongshanshan’in Jianghan Plain is successful. The most prominent are Taxodium hybrid ‘Zhongshanshan 502’and Taxodium hybrid ‘Zhongshanshan 118’, which are suitable for promoting afforestation in Jianghan Plain and then enrich the tree species diversity in Jianghan Plain.
