The effects of combinations of basal media (MS, 1/2MS, and modified MS) with different concentrations of 6-BA, NAA, and potato on the bud proliferation and growth vigor of *Anoectochilus roxburghii* (Wall.) Lindl were studied. Additionally, the impacts of combinations of media (1/4MS, 1/10MS, and 1/4 modified MS) with added potato on the rooting of this plant during tissue culture were investigated. The results showed that the medium "modified MS + 6-BA 3.0 mg/L + NAA 0.5 mg/L + potato 200 g/L" was optimal for bud proliferation, while the medium "1/4 modified MS + NAA 0.5 mg/L + potato 200 g/L" was the best for rooting.
