Abstract:Using the introduction experimental forest of Betuia alnoides in central Guangxi, which is 11 years in Sanmenjiang Forest Farm of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regio, as test materials, we studied the growth rule of Betuia alnoides plantation through sample plot investigation and analysis of standard wood trunk. The results showed that the average height of birch in Betuia alnoides reached a maximum of 1.98 m?a ?1 for 5 years and a maximum of 3.02 m?a ?1 for 4 years. The rapid growth period of tree height was within 5 years after afforestation. The average DBH increased rapidly during the seedling period, reaching a maximum value of 1.56 cm?a ?1 in 6 years, followed by a decreasing trend year by year. The annual growth fluctuated significantly, and there were two growth peaks before and after 3 years and 6 years, respectively. The annual growth reached 2.30 cm?a ?1 and 1.90 cm?a ?1 . The average growth change of individual plant volume was gentle, showing a trend of increasing year by year. The average growth amount of 11 years reached 0.01444 m 3 ?a ?1 and the continuous growth amount reached 0.02757 m 3 ?a ?1 . The continuous growth amount of volume and the average growth amount showed no peak and no sign of intersection, indicating that the artificial forest of Betuia alnoides had not reached the quantity maturity.
