Abstract:Based on the field investigation of the garden plants in8temples in Fuzhou,the questionnaire was designed to collect the data from monks and tourists in the temples and explore the influence of religious belief on the selection and configuration of plants in the gardens of the buddhist temples in Fuzhou.At last,the different needs of monks and tourists were analyzed,and we proposed that enriching plant species,increasing the total amount of temple plants,supplementing related plant species,foiling buddhist artistic conception and place culture,clarifying the audience and creating a reasonable layout of plant landscape space.According to the landscape functional characteristics of different regions, plant configuration patterns and tree species selection and recommendation strategies were proposed,so as to provide optimization strategies for the future plant landscape of temples and gardens in Fuzhou.
