Carya illinoensis is one of the world famous nut fruit trees, it has great value in economy and ecology.Because of weak foundation,It is still in initial stage of development and relatively lagging behind in Hubei province.By analyzing current situation of production industry and scientific research in Hubei province,the current situation of pecan industry in Hubei province was analyed in this article,pointed out key points and difficulties of scientific research in Pecan,and putted forward some countermeasures and suggestions for industrial development.
