Based on the status quo of collective forest right system reform, forestry development and forest certification in Hubei Province, the significance of forest certification for forestry development in Hubei Province was expounded. the internal strengths and weaknesses, external opportunities and threats of forest certification in Hubei Province were analyzed by SWOT analysis method, the direction for accelerating the forest certification work and promoting the high-quality development of forestry in Hubei Province were indicated.
