Paeonia rockii‘Baokang Ziban’is a unique wild peony group in Hubei Province， which is distributed between 1 100 and 1 800 m above sea level. It has the characteristics of strong seed-setting ability， large pods， many seeds and high oil content. However， its primary planting area is limited to high altitude mountain areas， and its planting area is small. Through breeding of fine varieties， selected warm and wet families， and the cultivation techniques of Interplanting with woody oil plants and ornamental trees are adopted. Paeonia rockii‘Baokang Ziban’has grown normally at low and middle altitudes in Hubei Province， and growing well.
