Taking Hubei Province of Yichang city in3 natural populations of Castanopsis sclerophylla Yuan'an county are investigated,analyzed the characteristics of community structure,and the tree height,DBH and height under branch 3 quantitative traits as the index,to carry out the preliminary selection of Castanopsissclerophylla,12 trees were selected, can be used for later construction of primary seed orchard.
