In order to avoid bad effects on the environment while control the Arge pullata(Zaddach),two methods are explored,which involve protecting its parasitic natural enemies as well as picking cocoon.Preliminary study showed that the cocoons are collected and nurtured indoors in the autumn.By releasing natural enemies during their emergence period next year,the parasitism rate of natural enemies can be obviously improved.In addition,picking cocoon in autumn can help to reduce the worm base of Arge pullata(Zaddach).
