Abstracts:For the selection of excellent Liquidambar formosana families that adapting to Hubei and other similar environment,132 7-year-old half sib families were used as experimental materials,a comprehensive evaluation was carried out with DBH,tree height,crown width and branch angle and other indications.There were significant differences in Liquidambar formosana halfsibling families.Volume,DBH,tree height,crown width and branch angle were by moderate genetic control.43 excellent Liquidambar formosana families of good performance were selected.
