Abstracts:Xianning urban greening situation was investigated by methods of sampling survey in five residential quarters including“Fuxingcheng”,“Hangtianhuanyuan”,“Yueliangwanhuayuan”, “Guiquanxiaoqu”and “Dushihuating”, and we found that the existing problems were monotonous greening form, simple structure, low level sense of hierarchy, deficient plant diversity and out of place plant layout.Then,we put forward some suggestions on plant selection and disposition according to its existing greening situation.
