Abstract:Abstracts:The oil contents and fatty acid compositions of 10 introduced Camellia oleifera varieties seed were determined and analyzed. The results showed that harvest time affected oil percentage and the difference between varieties were significant.Oil percentage of changlin-3 was 0.8% higher than in the region of origin, and oil percentages of changlin-4,changlin-18,changlin-23,and changlin-27 had little difference with those of original region. The oil contents of changlin-3,changlin-4,changlin-18,changlin-23,and changlin-27 were 10.10%,4.65%,6.35%,11.63% and 10.51% higher than that of the control.Camellia oleifera seed oil was mainly composed of oleic acid ,linoleic, palmitic acid and stearic acid. The content of oleic acid ranged from 72.40% to 84.70%,and averaged at 79.34%; the content of linoleic acid ranged from 4.30% to 15.50%,and averaged at 9.47%; the content of palmitic acid ranged from 6.60% to 9.00%,and averaged at 7.75%; the content of stearic acid ranged from 1.20% to 2.10%,and averaged at 2.03% .
