Abstracts:Investigation and Analysis on the main characters of 48 varieties of Nelumbo Adans and 15 varieties of Nymphaea L., compared comprehensively characters and growth of each variety provide reference for aquatic plants cultivation, production and application in Yichang area .The results showed that the introduced 63 aquatic plants except Nulumbo nucifera cv. 'Shengxian Pink'、Nulumbo nucifera cv. 'Messenger in Red Clothes'、Nulumbo nucifera cv. 'Luzhu carnation' were died. The last 60 varieties grew normally,13 varieties of aquatic plants Showed higher view value including Nelumbo nucifera cv. 'Big Versicolor'、Nelumbo nucifera cv. 'Hong shaoyao' etc. we can observe test and develop further in Yichang area.
