Abstract:The growth of phyllostachys heterocycla (Carr.)Lehaie is influenced and restricted by natural conditions. The different site conditions can result in different growth increment. The authors firstly screened out the related data about diameter at breast height growth by means of observation of the sample, then converted into fresh weight growth according to the first kind of phyllostachys heterocycla (Carr.)Lehaie unary heavy scale. Slope and the soil thickness were emphatically analyzed on the condition that stand density, altitude and canopy density were almost the same. Multiple factor variance analysis showed that different slope and soil thickness had a significant effect on its growth increment, but the interaction between the two factors was negligible.
