In this study,information sources come from Indian IRS-P6 remote sensing images,geographic data processing platform comes from ArcGIS9.2,utilize 3S technology to extract the distributable information of forest resources in the county,and has set up an attribute database linked with the space database,and the authors have pointed out that the way of extracting forest resources based on 3S which accords with inspection about interpretation 's precision,realizing the management of forest resources in computer,grasping changing character of forest resources information,and offer the decision-making basis for sustainable forest's utilization.
