Cult substrate and cultural container are two key factors for screening of root-control cultivation of landscape plants.We find out that the growth of Michelia tsoi Dandy in deferent substrates and different containers has a significant difference.The result indicated that substrate 4 and substrate 2 are the most suit- able for growth of Michelia tsoi Dandy.In two years,root-control container and non-woven bag can ef- fectively control root's growth in the container.
