Chaenomeles sinensis is multi-function species which concentrates integration of medicinal, edible and ornamental functions . Hubei is one of the provinces that distributions of chaenomeles sinensis resource focus on the area in large scale .In recent years, China's wildlife resources, as demand exceeds supply for wild to cultivated area and scale in expanding. Because of Chaenomeles sinensis resource species unclear,the objects and purposes of mutual mixed impact of value increasing of Chaenomeles sinensis industry and development.The authors in the last five years have made for investigation on this basis,adopting "duality classification" of Hubei Chaenomeles sinensis resource for the classification system,the formation of duality four classification system is formed,a series of recommendations in research and development for such species is raised in the future.
