Presently the poplar industrialization in Hubei are in a key fast development period. On the basis of reviewing and summarizing the existing problems have been pointed out in this paper such as poplar breed appraisal and popularization, forest direction cultivation target, scientific research, supervising measures and ecological problems arising from poplar industrialization for poplar tree. Finally, in order to promote its sustainable, speedy and healthy development, some relevant coun(?)ermeasures and suggestions about poplar industrialization in Hubei province have been put forward as well.
