The period of emergence for adult of Batocera horsfieldi(Hope) is from 10 April to 20 May in Hubei province. In the early emergence period, it can effectively control its damage by spraying 1:200 ummines solution into main trunk under 4 meters. For larger area of fragemented poplar forest, it can reach the aim for controlling damage by Batocera horsfieldi (Hope) over entire block of forestland through controlling the insect along forest margin.
