This article has carried out more systematic investigation and analysis on current status of institutional construction in forestry scientific and technical extension in Hubei Province. Based on main problems existed in present institutional construction such as unsound institutional arrangement, weak basic condition, severely insufficient enterprises expense, low application degree of scientific and technical achievement in production, lack of talent in forestry scientific and technical extension, lack of intercourse, information block up and no formation into effective extension network from up to down etc., the solution pathway is put forward.
