A survey has been carefully carried out on the project of converting the land for forestry in some counties of Hubei province. The works about converting the land for forestry carried out in these counties were highly evaluated. Annual plan of the project, percentage of eco-forest in forest land area, management fee of the project, fending of juvenile stand, intercropping in converted land and eco-immigration were also primarily studied in this paper.
